Time in Range is 1 year old!
I started a Substack last year on November 5, 2024!
Time in Range, this weekly newsletter about the highs & lows of living with diabetes, is one year old today!
ONE WHOLE YEAR OF TIME IN RANGE!!
That’s something to celebrate, don’t you think?
Time in Range has covered many topics related to health care, language, stigma and disability…and so much more! Now it’s quite an archive of information.
I'm still writing the book on diabetes. It’s almost finished.
Why not upgrade your subscription so you can be first to know when the book is released?
What is Type 1 diabetes (T1D)? I'm so glad you asked. It’s an autoimmune condition that destroys the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas, thereby requiring insulin by multiple injections or a pump. What they call T1D is a multi-headed hydra. It is always there, and has always been there since I was diagnosed at the age of sixteen.

It's not all heavy stuff, though. I can say it will continue to be thought-provoking with a healthy dose of humour.
